Billing, Renewal & Cancellation
Last Updated: · Effective Date:
This page is a plain-English summary of how billing works on eLinked — what providers pay for a subscription, that subscriptions renew automatically, how to cancel, and what customers pay per booking. It is written for clarity.
The legally binding version of these terms is our Terms of Service. Each section below links back to the binding Terms section that controls if there is ever any conflict.
1.Provider Subscriptions
Providers pay a monthly subscription to list and accept bookings on eLinked. The subscription is billed monthly, in advance, and renews automatically each month until you cancel. There is no fixed term and no cancellation fee — it continues month to month until you choose to stop it.
The price you will be charged is the price of the tier you select at checkout. Our current tiers:
| Tier | Crew size | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | 1 person | $12.50/mo (Early Access; then $25/mo) |
| Starter | 2 – 3 people | $44.50/mo (Early Access; then $89/mo) |
| Professional | 4 – 6 people | $94.50/mo (Early Access; then $189/mo) |
| Business | 7 – 12 people | $174.50/mo (Early Access; then $349/mo) |
| Enterprise | 13+ people | Custom-quoted |
Early Access pricing is a promotional discount. During Early Access, subscriptions are offered at a reduced rate. Promotional pricing is a discount applied to the standard price and may be changed or ended at eLinked’s discretion, with at least 30 days’ advance notice before any price change takes effect. Early Access pricing is not a locked-for-life rate. See the binding terms: Terms of Service §8 (Provider Subscriptions), including §8.3 Promotional Pricing.
2.How to Cancel
You can cancel anytimefrom your account through the Stripe customer portal — the same self-serve, online way you started. No phone call and no email is required to cancel.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access through the period you have already paid for.
- No prorated refund for the current period, except where a refund is required by law.
- Cancelling ends automatic renewal — you will not be charged again after the current period ends.
See the binding terms: Terms of Service §8.6 (Cancellation and Refunds).
3.What Customers Pay
Customers do not pay a subscription. There is no account fee and nothing to renew. Customers pay only for the work they book, plus:
- A flat $2 service fee per booking. This fee is non-refundable and is disclosed before you confirm a booking.
- A deposit, where the provider requires one. A deposit is part of the price, not an extra charge — it is applied toward the total for the job and reduces the balance owed when the work is complete. It never increases what you pay.
The provider sets the deposit, but only within limits eLinked controls: a minimum based on the price of the service (which may be $0 for lower-priced jobs) and a firm maximum — a deposit may never exceed 50% of the total price. You always see the exact deposit amount before you confirm and pay. These limits are enforced by eLinked, not left to the provider.
See the binding terms: Terms of Service §7 (Customer Payments).
4.Provider Per-Job Platform Fee
In addition to the monthly subscription, eLinked charges providers a small platform fee on each completed job. The fee is a percentage of the job value and is capped— the percentage never rises again above 2.5%, no matter how large the job. There is no pay-per-lead fee and no charge for jobs that are not completed.
| Job value | Platform fee |
|---|---|
| $25 – $74 | 8% |
| $75 – $299 | 5% |
| $300 – $999 | 3.5% |
| $1,000 – $3,999 | 3% |
| $4,000+ | 2.5% (capped) |
The 2.5% cap is a hard ceiling — the percentage never rises again, regardless of job size. See the binding terms: Terms of Service §7 (Customer Payments).
